We purchased this Loch Up son at the 2020 Millah Murrah sale for $20,000. We were attracted to him for his larger frame, length and muscle as well as his strong extended pedigree which includes our own Brenda line. Several Loch Up bulls will be offered at our 2024 sale.

Millah Murrah Paratrooper P15

Paratrooper sold for $160,000 at the Millah Murrah sale in 2019. We were impressed by both his phenotype and presence on the day and considered that his pedigree, which features renowned NZ bulls such as Highlander of Stern, Crusader of Stern and Hingaia 469 to be a perfect fit for our program. We have been rewarded with some beautiful females and powerful bulls who will feature in our 2024 sale.

Woodhill Patent USA 19199070

Woodhill Patent was introduced into our program for his exceptional depth and structure. Not always seen in American bulls, Patent is moderate in size but with the thickness and mass we look for. He has very strong maternal lines and powerful calving ease figures. He has produced some excellent sons who will offer outstanding heifer bull prospects in our 2024 and 2025 sales.

Quixote has excellent structure and phenotype combined with a great balance of EBVs. Like Loch Up P121, Quixote comes from the magnificent Millah Murrah Brenda line which originated with Glengowan Brenda 8th. His progeny will be featured in our 2025 sales.

Cricklewood Pandemic P056 is an outstanding NZ sire who was purchased by Mt Mable and Kenhardt Angus NZ for $92,000 in 2020. He is a powerful, stylish bull who moves beautifully and has excellent feet and legs with a strong head and jaw. His progeny will be offered in our 2025 sale.

Glengowan Neil N8, Glengowan Narran N95, Glengowan Nate N99, Glengowan Nathanial N100

Classic homebred bulls with exceptionally strong pedigrees, N95, N99 and N100 are grandsons of the legendary NZ bull Hingaia 469 and N8 is by Turihaua Crumble Y167. Hingaia 469 needs no introduction and Crumble has made a significant impact on the Angus breed in NZ with over 600 progeny recorded. He is a trait leader for gestation length, days to calving and fats. These bulls all demonstrate the width, smoothness and muscle of their sires combined with the thickness and beautiful softness of their dams. More of their progeny will be available in 2024 and 2025.

Banquet Jupiter J263

We purchased Jupiter J263 at the Banquet 2015 Autumn sale for $40000. We considered him a standout for his head, depth, hindquarter and top line. He has excellent feet and an exceptionally quiet temperament. His EMA of 6.5 was outstanding and was at the time Banquet’s highest EMA scan. Jupiter’s extended pedigree also appealed us as it demonstrates some legendary NZ sires including Hingaia 469. Jupiter has left a line of beautiful females.
